TRUTH IN ADVERTISING...MARIJUANA FOR SALE?
His T-shirt read "WHO NEEDS DRUGS" in large type and then "No, seriously, I have drugs." It could have stated MARIJUANA FOR SALE.
John Balmer allegedly meant just that when he was arrested at a K-Mart in Hudson, Florida, by deputies from the Pasco Sheriff's Department. Whether it was the advertisement on the shirt he was wearing or the bag he purportedly kept trying to ditch that first caught the deputies' eyes is unknown. However, arrested, he was.
According to the Tampa Tribune, based on a sheriff's report, when Balmer was in line to check-out, he apparently saw the deputy come in and attempted to give a "bag of green leafy substance" (marijuana) to someone standing behind him in line - to no avail. Then once at the cash register, he allegedly put the bag on the floor and paid his bill. Another deputy approached and alerted employees about the bag full of marijuana and other methamphetamine.
Balmar was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana not more than 20 grams. http://pascosheriff.us/arrests/
