Another Tiger Woods DUI video released

He stands there as those without his global fame, his millions of dollars and his golf titles have stood there before him. A video of golf icon Tiger Woods was recently released, showing him handcuffed and humbled, taking a breathalyzer test in a county jail about two hours east of Fort Myers.

The legend had been found asleep at the wheel of his luxury auto earlier this week, law enforcement officials said. He was arrested for driving under the influence.

Video of Woods taking a roadside sobriety test was also released this week. In it, he often appeared confused by questions from police officers, even stating at one point that he was on his way from Los Angeles to Orange County, California.

He was actually stopped on a road a short distance from his home in Jupiter.

The new video shows a handcuffed Woods giving an officer his name, height, weight, etc.

The test showed a 0 reading for BAC (blood alcohol content). That is, he had no alcohol in his system at the time of arrest.

Woods maintains that his difficulties that night were due to unexpected problems with prescription medications.

There is little doubt that Tiger now understands fully what punishments he might face if convicted of DUI. There is also little doubt that he will have his day in court with a skilled criminal defense attorney at his side.

Few of us will ever get near the fame and wealth of Woods, but we all have the same rights that need protection. You can discuss your case by contacting the Law Firm of Scott T. Moorey.
