Deputies: Drunken woman backs into patrol car

| Mar 29, 2013 | DUI

Lee County deputies arrested a woman on Fort Myers Beach after they say she drunkenly plowed into an LCSO patrol car.

Constance E. Dease-Klamet, 53, was placed under arrest on Thursday after a deputy said he witnessed her back up into a parked patrol car at the Lani Kai Resort.

The deputy of the patrol car was responding to a non-related call at the time.

Before the incident, witnesses alerted a nearby deputy about two people trying to leave in a white Cadillac while intoxicated.

That is when, according to the report, the deputy witnessed Dease-Klamet back into the patrol car.

Deputies said Dease-Klamet agreed to sobriety exercises, and was placed under arrest for DUI and DUI property damage after the officer’s observations.

She refused a breath test at first — but later agreed to one.

Her results were .180 BAC and .174 BAC.
