On Friday, the Fort Myers Police Department’s Special Investigations Group, with the assistance of SWAT and uniformed officers, conducted a search warrant at 1961 High Street.
The investigation was in response to intelligence gathered by detectives regarding street-level drug sales.
Police seized cocaine, marijuana, cooking utensils with cocaine residue used for the manufacturing of crack cocaine and items used for weighing and packaging illicit drugs. Police also seized two firearms in the residence, a Taurus 38 special and a Titanic 32 caliber.
Police arrested Jason Nixon for possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In addition, City of Fort Myers Code Enforcement posted the residence unlivable. The drug investigation remains ongoing at this time.
