Man Rode Bike Right Into Drug Crime Charge

Man Rode Bike Right into Drug Crime Charge

According to the News-Press as well as LCSO they claim that a man who intended to call the police to report a dispute ended up in jail for two drug crime charges: Marijuana possess not more than 20gs and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.   The man who has been charged made the call to the police because he was threatened by a 50 year old woman supposedly because he had purchased drugs from her daughter and threatened to turn her into the police.

The accused tried to prove to the investigators that he had purchased the drugs from her by saying, "Come to my house, and I'll give you the dope".  Sounds like he was setup, the police officers allowed him to ride his bike and when he presented them with the marijuana they arrested him on two drug crime charges.  Upon search of his body the investigators found prescription pills on him and added that charge.

The man would have been better off keeping his mouth shut by invoking his right to remain silent and ask for his attorney immediately.  I know that is what all you blog readers and Facebooker's would do.
